Roger Williams – Born Free

“The man that hath no music in himself, Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, is fit for treasons, stratagems and spoils.” William Shakespeare

Strictly Ballroom – Final Dance

“The magic is as wide as a smile and as narrow as a wink, loud as laughter and quiet as a tear, tall as a tale and deep as emotion. So strong, it can lift the spirit. So gentle, it can touch the heart. It is the magic that begins the happily ever after.” – Unknown

For Death by ISIS You Have to Go Out; Illegal Aliens Deliver! by Ann Coulter

ISIS has killed four Americans — in Syria. We’re not exactly talking about another 9/11. Here’s a tip: If you don’t want to be killed by ISIS, don’t go to Syria. Meanwhile, illegal aliens have killed, raped and maimed thousands of Americans — in America. If you don’t want to be killed, raped or maimed by illegal immigrants in your own country, I have no tips for you. There’s nothing you can do. You’re on your own. Good luck.

You can always tell the media are hiding something when they obsessively focus on Muslim atrocities someplace else in the world. Cable TV could cover Muslim atrocities 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from 632 A.D. to the end of time, without repeating themselves.

For at least a year after 9/11, I used to turn on the TV, and if I saw a “Survivor” contestant, I’d think, “Good. No news.” These days, I turn on the TV, and if I see former U.N. ambassador John Bolton, I think, “Good. No news.”

By now, the public knows more about ISIS than they know about the Kardashians. But it has no idea that the very same Senate Democrats who claimed to oppose Obama’s amnesty when they were campaigning are currently filibustering a bill to defund it, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is ready to cave.

UN Climate Boss Resigns in Scandal, Says Mission Is “Religion”

Like a cult, the alarmists defend the theory with increasing extremism, even calling for skeptics to be re-educated, imprisoned, and executed. Pachuri himself publicly wished in 2010 that skeptics of his theory would “apply asbestos to their faces every day.”

As if to confirm the widespread view among skeptics of man-made climate-change theories that global-warming alarmism is akin to a religious cult, United Nations “climate science” boss Rajendra K. Pachauri admitted in his resignation letter this week that his crusade to purportedly save the planet from CO2 is more than just a mission — it is his “religion.” The chairman of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was forced to step down this week after 13 years on the job amid accusations and court proceedings surrounding alleged sexual harassment, stalking, and criminal intimidation of a female researcher.

Perhaps more important than why he is stepping down is the explosive revelation contained in his resignation letter hinting at the true nature of his radical cause. “For me the protection of Planet Earth, the survival of all species and sustainability of our ecosystems is more than a mission,” Pachauri wrote. “It is my religion and my dharma.” According to the Concise Oxford Dictionary of World Religions, the term dharma in Hinduism is a “fundamental concept” that refers to “the order and custom which make life and a universe possible, and thus to the behaviors appropriate to the maintenance of that order.” It was traditionally associated with sacrifices to the Hindu gods.

Unbelievable: Students Are Getting Bonus SAT Points For Being Black Or Hispanic

What we are witnessing here is the “soft bigotry of low expectations.” Universities are basically assuming that these students (namely blacks and Hispanics) are too intellectually inferior to compete with their Asian counterparts. Why else would they hand out or rescind points based on such utterly irrelevant factors!?

Reporting by the LA Times reveals that blacks and Hispanics receive bonus points on their SATs, while Asians instead get penalized points:

[The] next slide shows three columns of numbers from a Princeton University study that tried to measure how race and ethnicity affect admissions by using SAT scores as a benchmark. It uses the term “bonus” to describe how many extra SAT points an applicant’s race is worth. She points to the first column.

African Americans received a “bonus” of 230 points, [Anna] Lee says.

She points to the second column.

“Hispanics received a bonus of 185 points.”

The last column draws gasps.

Asian Americans, Lee says, are penalized by 50 points — in other words, they had to do that much better to win admission.

France’s National Front: Marine Le Pen’s far-right party is leading in the polls ahead of next month’s local elections

The anti-immigrant, anti-EU party came first in last year’s European Parliament elections in France, and has been hovering just below 30 per cent approval for several months now.

The popularity of France’s far-right National Front party continues to grow apace, with a new poll placing Marine Le Pen’s party as favourites in next month’s local elections.

According to an Ifop survey commissioned by Le Figaro newspaper, the National Front enjoy the support of 30 per cent of the public, ahead of a combined score of 28 per cent for the conservative UMP and centrist UDI parties.

President Francois Hollande’s Socialist party currently sits in third place with 20 per cent, with his personal approval ratings have slipping to 24 per cent just a month after he was lauded for his handling of the Charlie Hebdo massacre.

At the end of 2014, with an approval rating of only 12 per cent, Hollande was the least popular President in France’s history.

Hillary Clinton Brings Special Brand of Hypocrisy to Silicon Valley

The monumental hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton emerged full-blown on Tuesday as she spoke in Silicon Valley about “shocking” pay disparities between men and women. Speaking at the Lead On Watermark Conference for Women at the Santa Clara Convention Center before a crowd of 5,000 people, Clinton intoned that data on women’s pay inequity was “sobering” and “shocking,” according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

She pointed to a Forbes list of 100 top tech venture capitalists, snapping, “only four are women” and “just 11 percent of executives in Silicon Valley and only about 20 percent of software developers overall are women.” She added more fuel to the fire by quoting a gender pay gap studies on Silicon Valley asserting that “a woman with a bachelor’s degree here tends to make 60 percent less than a man with the same degree.”

Clinton tweeted last April,

20 years ago, women made 72 cents on the dollar to men. Today it’s still just 77 cents. More work to do. #EqualPay #NoCeilings

— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) April 9, 2014

According to Julia Love, a tech reporter for siliconvalley.com, Clinton said, “You bump your heads on the glass ceilings that persist in the tech industry. It’s time to think different.” Love added, “Clinton, who is widely expected to announce a presidential campaign later this year, was the biggest draw at the conference hosted by Watermark, a group that advocates for women in the workforce–and her message did not disappoint.”

But the Hillary Clinton who uses women’s pay inequity to shill for the women’s vote (and for donor dollars) is the same woman who, as a United States Senator, paid women on her staff 72 cents for each dollar paid to men, as the Washington Free Beacon reported from an analysis of her Senate years’ salary data.

Texas DPS Warns Spring Breakers to Avoid Travel to Mexico

Even in the once quiet resort area of Los Cabos, an uptick in cartel activity has seen a dramatic increase in murders and shootouts in recent months.

Texas’ top law enforcement agency is warning thousands of college and high school students to avoid going to Mexico during this year’s upcoming Spring Break season.

The warning from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) was part of their yearly tips for spring breakers. The DPS warns students to be aware on the road, avoid driving while fatigued, as well as other precautions, In recent years, the agency has also emphasized warnings about travel to Mexico.

“The Mexican government has made great strides battling the cartels, and the department commends their continued commitment to that effort,” DPS said in their advisory. “DPS also has a responsibility to inform the public about safety and travel risks and threats, and based on the unpredictable nature of cartel violence and other criminal elements, the department urges individuals to avoid travel to Mexico at this time.”

For years, spring breakers have sought out Mexican beach resorts like Acapulco, Los Cabos, and Cancun or the bars along border cities like Tijuana, El Paso and, in the past, Matamoros and Reynosa. However the onslaught of Mexican cartel violence has shut down many of those border bars and damaged the image of the beach resorts.

Ga. Lawmakers Introduce Resolution Urging Schools To Show D’Souza Film

Florida lawmakers introduced a bill last year that would require students in eighth and eleventh grades to watch the film. The Georgia resolution also targets eighth and eleventh grade, but does not require schools to show the film.

Georgia lawmakers last week introduced a resolution calling on schools to screen conservative author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza’s latest movie, “America: Imagine A World Without Her.”

According to the resolution sponsored by six state House Republicans, D’Souza made the movie to “combat the idea that America is a ‘disgrace’ to the world.”

The resolution also includes D’Souza’s description of the movie as one that “analyzes common critiques of the country’s past, like slavery and the treatment of Native Americans, and ‘zooms in on them to see which parts are true and which are completely false.'”
