Norman Finkelstein is an American political scientist and activist. Born to Jewish Holocaust-survivor parents, his primary fields of research are the politics of the Holocaust and the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. He received his PhD in political science from Princeton University and rose to prominence in 2000 after publishing The Holocaust Industry, in which he writes that the memory of the Holocaust is exploited as an ideological weapon to provide Israel a degree of immunity from criticism.

The academic journal Anglo-Saxon England has changed its name to Early Medieval England and its Neighbours. This is because ‘Anglo-Saxon’ has come to be synonymous with ‘white’.
The University of Hawai’i at Mānoa will host its eighth annual ‘Black Graduation’ primarily for ‘Black American/African American/African/Black Diaspora students.’ ‘This year our theme is ‘Black Royalty’ to celebrate the excellence that our black graduates, students, & community members lead with,’ the UH Mānoa Alice Ball Black Grad Instagram posted.
“Black Graduation” will soon be returning to a public university in Mānoa, Hawaii.
On May 10, the Black Student Association at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa (UHM) will host its eighth annual Black Graduation primarily for graduating “Black American/African American/African/Black Diaspora students” at Kuykendall Hall.
Graduate awards will also be gifted to black students, including a “Black Excellence award,” among other honors.
UHM recognizes Black Graduation as a celebration in remembrance of Alice Ball, the first black woman to obtain a master’s degree from the university in 1915.

Who are the people of Oceania and what is their history? Today we’ll be looking at the native people of Oceania, the many islands of the Pacific and where they come from, including the Melanesians, Micronesians and Polynesians as well as the people who came before that have since largely been washed away by subsequent migration from East Asia, that being the indigenous inhabitants of Sundaland; a unique race of people related to both native Oceanians such as Papuans as well as indigenous tribal Adivasi peoples of South Asia. Over time, various waves of migration and colonization has created a very unique demographic situation in most of Oceania with connections to people groups in Asia, Europe and even the Americas.

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, several more public school teachers have been arrested this month for sexually abusing their students. This is part of a massive, decades-long abuse epidemic that has claimed millions of victims; yet, somehow, it still isn’t treated as a major scandal. Also, a man in DC fires an AR-15 at a car in the middle of his neighborhood. He’s already back on the street. Hunger strikers at Princeton claim it’s unfair that their hunger strike has made them hungry. And a liberal punk rock band has put out a cringy song that proves why punk rock is dead.
