The Gods of the Copybook Headings – Rudyard Kipling (Video)

The title of Rudyard Kipling’s poem is obscure today but would have been clear to any educated Englishman of his day. A copybook was a kind of penmanship exercise in which the student copied over and over again a sentence printed in the heading at the top of each page. These copybook headings were usually aphorisms or statements of commonsense wisdom, so Kipling used the Gods of the Copybook Headings as a symbol for basic, immutable truths.

Wall Street and the rise of Hitler – Antony Sutton (Video)

In his book, Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler, Professor Antony Sutton, author of nineteen books, provides a thoroughly documented account of the role played by Morgan, Rockefeller, General Electric Company, Standard Oil, National City Bank, Chase and Manhattan banks, Kuhn, Loeb and Company, General Motors, Ford, and other industrialists, in helping to finance the Nazis.

Polygamous immigrant families to be paid more benefits after Government blunder

‘Under Islamic Sharia law, polygamy is permissible. So a man can return to Pakistan, take another bride and then, in a repetition of the process, bring her to England where they also have children together — obtaining yet more money from the state,’ Baroness Flather wrote in the Mail last year.

Error: The Department for Work and Pensions’ reforms have inadvertently opened up a loophole for polygamous households

Immigrants with more than one wife will qualify for extra benefits under reforms to Britain’s welfare system, after an attempt to crack down on the problem backfired.

Polygamous marriages, largely confined to Muslim families, are only recognised in Britain if they took place in countries where they are legal.

Currently, any additional wives can receive reduced individual income support, meaning the husband and his first wife are paid up to £111.45.

Subsequent spouses living under the same roof receive around £40. Under the new system of Universal Credit, which comes in next year, polygamous marriages will not be recognised at all.

Ministers pledged to end the ‘absurd’ benefits regime which has seen multiple wives allowed to claim extra welfare payments.

But a House of Commons Library paper has highlighted a loophole in the rules which will allow additional wives to claim a full single person’s allowance, currently worth up to £71, while the original married couple will still get a married couple’s allowance.

Obama’s entrepreneurial Communist Manifesto by Chuck Norris

Obama’s Roanoke statements shouldn’t come as any surprise, as he has emphatically declared from early in his presidency that “only government” is our savior, and then he supported his socialistic platform through multiple company and corporate bailouts.

President Obama’s business comments a couple weeks ago in Roanoke, Va., in which he said, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen,” sounded more communistic than capitalistic, especially since the “somebody” to whom Obama referred was, in fact, the U.S. federal government.

Progressives and the mainstream media were quick to come to the aid of the president’s economic gaffe by stating that similar statements have been said by other entrepreneurial moguls like Henry Ford, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Andrew Carnegie and Walter Chrysler. Others excused Obama by saying he “borrowed” his business verbiage from Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren.

No one is denying the genius of collective contributions or the power of working together. One of my favorite acrostics is TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More. But the key difference between President Obama’s teamwork and all the rest of those inspirational innovators is that the latter were referencing other individuals’ collaborative efforts within their own entrepreneurship, while Obama was pointing to politicians and specifically the federal government as the business associates responsible for your success.

Saudi Students Flood In as U.S. Reopens Door

The more than 300 graduates gathered at a hotel overlooking the Potomac River were all from Saudi Arabia, part of a massive government-paid foreign study program to earn bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees and return home to help run their country.

At a recent ceremony for Saudi graduates in Washington D.C.

Dressed in caps and gowns, the college students packing a graduation ceremony in suburban Washington, D.C., acted like excited graduates anywhere in the United States.

Except, perhaps, when the men broke into tribal line dances. Or when the women, wearing headscarves, burst forth with zagareet, soaring trills of their tongues, in celebration.

The more than 300 graduates gathered at a hotel overlooking the Potomac River were all from Saudi Arabia, part of a massive government-paid foreign study program to earn bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees and return home to help run their country.

“You are the best of the best, and the future of our country,” Saudi Arabia’s cultural attaché, Mohammed al Issa, declared at the May event.

In the years following the security crackdown on Arab travelers after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks—in which 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi Arabian—tough restrictions kept most Arab students away from the U.S. In 2004, only about 1,000 Saudis were studying in the U.S., according to the U.S. State Department.

FBI Informants Speak Out: Eric Holder’s DOJ Is Ignoring Child Sex-Trafficking Victims

The majority of law enforcement agencies did not take on human trafficking investigations due to complications arising from interacting with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Agencies that received federal funding were required by federal law to inform ICE of any such investigations and cooperate with them. Unfortunately, ICE would frequently act unilaterally and raid the facility that was being investigated. This made any substantial long-term investigation impossible.

Brandon Darby, previously an FBI informant, is speaking out on the DOJ’s hesitancy to help human trafficking victims, particularly minors. Read more of his shocking account.

From Townhall Magazine’s August report, “FBI Informants Speak Out: Eric Holder’s DOJ Is Ignoring Child Sex-Trafficking Victims,” by Brandon Darby:

Why Speaking Out Is Necessary

My experiences of working undercover with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force have been well-documented by the media, as has my conversion from a prominent left-of-center activist to a tea party activist who advocates for law enforcement and for our nation.

I was an operational human source, commonly referred to by the public as a type of informant, for the FBI. The FBI has had special agents testify under oath that I was trustworthy and reliable and that my information was always accurate and never deceptive. They also testified under oath that my motivations were deemed to be moral and ideological, not financial. These factors categorized me as a “trusted source,” meaning my words were capable of initiating the FBI to assign resources to request warrants be issued. I have refrained from speaking on issues surrounding my experiences with the FBI, except in matters they have chosen to make public or otherwise ensured me would not have an effect on an ongoing investigation. I have also refrained from discussing any involvement with the FBI since the much-publicized 2009 trial of far Left would-be bombers in which I was the star witness for the FBI and the United States Attorneys’ Office.

$200M wasted on Iraqi police training program, US audit says

Auditors noted that it “has clearly been difficult” for American diplomats to secure a solid commitment from Iraq’s government to participate in the training program. Still, the report concluded, “the decision to embark on a major program absent Iraqi buy-in has been costly” and resulted in “a de facto waste.”

July 15, 2012: An Iraqi police officer searches people at a checkpoint in central Baghdad, Iraq.

U.S. auditors have concluded that more than $200 million was wasted on a program to train Iraqi police that Baghdad says is neither needed nor wanted.

The Police Development Program– which was drawn up to be the single largest State Department program in the world — was envisioned as a five-year, multibillion-dollar push to train security forces after the U.S. military left last December. But Iraqi political leaders, anxious to keep their distance from the Americans, were unenthusiastic.

A report by the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction, to be released Monday, found that the American Embassy in Baghdad never got a written commitment from Iraq to participate. Now, facing what the report called Baghdad’s “disinterest” in the project, the embassy is gutting what was supposed to be the centerpiece of ongoing U.S. training efforts in Iraq.

According to the report, the embassy plans to turn over the $108 million Baghdad Police College Annex to Iraqis by the end of the year and will stop training at a $98 million site at the U.S. consulate in the southern city of Basra. Additionally, the number of advisers has been cut by nearly 90 percent — from 350 to 36.

Racist graffiti sprayed on homes – ‘White People Move Out’

Racist graffiti insulting white people and telling them to move out of town has been found painted on a quiet side street of Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

The words ‘white slags’, ‘old white basterds’ (sic) and ‘white people move out ov Ravy!!’ (sic) were daubed on properties in Crawshaw Street in the Ravensthorpe area earlier this month.

A tag alongside the graffiti, ‘RTS’, had residents worried, as it was thought to refer to a local Asian gang who call themselves the Ravey Terror Squad.

The notorious group was behind a series of unprovoked attacks on white people on or near the Calder Valley Greenway in 2007.

The graffiti prompted one resident to put up CCTV cameras around the area the next day, but they were mysteriously torn down soon after.

Of course, the mainstream media have totally ignored the crimes, despite their usual habit of lapping up such stories if they involve alleged racism towards non-whites.

For example, in February this year, the BBC saw fit to call someone painting the letters ‘PLM’ on a wall in Northamptonshire ‘racist graffiti’ and an ‘attack on ethnic minority residents’.

According to the report, entitled ‘Racist graffiti scrawled on houses in Wellingborough’, the letters PLM are racist towards Asians, and constitute a ‘hate crime’.
