NC deputies seize 10 guns at Black Panther Party press conference

Brewer added that deputies also had members at the press conference who were wearing masks, lower their mask due to North Carolina state law prohibiting the wearing of masks at meetings or demonstrations.

Ten weapons were seized at the Revolutionary Black Panther Party press conference Sunday morning.

Members of the RBPP held a press conference Sunday to go over their plans for the events scheduled the rest of the day. Those events include a tribunal at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday followed by an armed vigil at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

It was announced at the press conference that the group made the decision to hold an armed vigil instead of the armed march which they had been planning all week.

The decision came after New Hanover County District Attorney Ben David issued a statement Thursday in response to the planned “armed march.”

In the parties response to David’s statement, party leader Dr. Alli Muhammad stated they believe the District Attorney and the Wilmington Police Chief are engaging in acts designed to suppress their freedom of expression.

Pirro on Illegal Immigration: ‘Law & Order is Back in the West’ (Video)

Pirro said such mayors, like Ed Lee (D-San Francisco) and Bill de Blasio (D-New York), will only hurt their own residents when severe budget cuts must be made.

In her opening statement on Saturday, Judge Jeanine Pirro slammed critics of President Trump’s hard-line stance on illegal immigration, including liberal mayors of sanctuary cities.

“You can march and you can hate; you can shame and you can demonize, but… law and order is back in the West,” Pirro said, referring to Trump’s executive order withholding federal grant money to cities who will not enforce federal immigration law.

A Black Lives Matter anti-Trump protest went off the rails in Seattle over the weekend, when a BLM activist took to the the megaphone to express her contempt for white people.

Among the more than three minute racial tirade against white people, the activist gave clear demands:

White people, give your [expletive] money, your [expletive] house, your [expletive] property, we need it [expletive] all.

But that wasn’t the worst of it…

And we need to start killing people. First off, we need to start killing the White House. The White House must die. The White House, your [expletive]White House, your [expletive] Presidents, they must go!

At one point, the activist in the video identifies as a preschool teacher.

What Caused the Maya Collapse? Archaeologists Uncover New Clues

The growth of the great Mayan civilization is as much a mystery as its disappearance.

Scientists have long wondered what exactly happened in the ninth century A.D., when the flourishing Maya civilization in Mesoamerica fell into what would be a permanent decline, its once-great cities reclaimed by jungle. More recent research revealed the Maya also experienced an earlier collapse, in the second century, about which scientists know even less. In a new study, based on the largest set of radiocarbon dates ever obtained from a single Maya site, a team of researchers argues that both collapses were preceded by similar patterns, as waves of social instability, warfare and political crises swept over the civilization and caused it to deteriorate.

For more than a decade, a team led by researchers from the University of Arizona has been working at the archaeological site of Ceibal in northern Guatemala. After assembling a record-setting 154 radiocarbon dates, the researchers have been able to develop a highly precise chronology that illuminates the patterns that led up to the two collapses that the Maya civilization experienced: the Preclassic collapse, in the second century A.D., and the more well-known Classic collapse some seven centuries later.

One of the most dominant civilizations in Mesomerica, the Maya reached their peak around the sixth century A.D., constructing impressive stone cities and making advances in agriculture, calendar-making and mathematics, among other fields. But by A.D. 900, those great stone cities were mostly abandoned. Theories about what caused the Classic Maya collapse have ranged from overpopulation to ongoing military conflict between competing city-states to some catastrophic environmental event, such as an intense drought—or some combination of all of those factors.

I. The Raindrop Moment

A few months ago, the vision of Hollywood’s economic future came into terrifyingly full and rare clarity. I was standing on the set of a relatively small production, in Burbank, just north of Los Angeles, talking to a screenwriter about how inefficient the film-and-TV business appeared to have become. Before us, after all, stood some 200 members of the crew, who were milling about in various capacities, checking on lighting or setting up tents, but mainly futzing with their smartphones, passing time, or nibbling on snacks from the craft-service tents. When I commented to the screenwriter that such a scene might give a Silicon Valley venture capitalist a stroke on account of the apparent unused labor and excessive cost involved in staging such a production—which itself was statistically uncertain of success—he merely laughed and rolled his eyes. “You have no idea,” he told me.

After a brief pause, he relayed a recent anecdote, from the set of a network show, that was even more terrifying: The production was shooting a scene in the foyer of a law firm, which the lead rushed into from the rain to utter some line that this screenwriter had composed. After an early take, the director yelled “Cut,” and this screenwriter, as is customary, ambled off to the side with the actor to offer a comment on his delivery. As they stood there chatting, the screenwriter noticed that a tiny droplet of rain remained on the actor’s shoulder. Politely, as they spoke, he brushed it off. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, an employee from the production’s wardrobe department rushed over to berate him. “That is not your job,” she scolded. “That is my job.”

California is on target for going BUST in 2021. It already has the HIGHEST taxes in the USA and Gov. Jerry Brown’s administration miscalculated costs for the state Medi-Cal program, which is their excuse, by $1.9 billion last year.

California is a complete black hole. The people do not even realize that government has been so corrupt, that every person in California owes $93,000 at the end of 2016 to cover state employee pensions. Back in 2015, Calpers, the State Pension system, sold out stocks and bought bonds because they thought the stock market would crash. They have been quietly supporting efforts in Congress to seize 401K pension plans and hand them to the States to manage. Their top two corrupt politicians would have had this through if Hillary won.

It would be a win-win for the rest of the country if California seceded and took its two leading politicians with them. Of course, I doubt these two notorious politicians would vote to leave. It would be like the Clinton Foundation having to close shop because Hillary lost her influence to peddle.

Nancy Pelosi is the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, representing California’s 12th congressional district. Pelosi made a fortune trading initial public offerings (IPOs) while she had access to insider information from Congress. Yet she would never allow Social Security to invest for the average person. Pelosi has confirmed how Democrats really do dislike Christians. She recently said: “They pray in church on Sunday and then prey on people the rest of the week.” The Podesta emails that revealed the Democrats disliked Catholics and Evangelical Christians, seem to be on point about their attitude: Hillary’s staff said Catholics are “severely backward” and further demeaned them saying they don’t know “what the hell they’re talking about.” Yet Pelosi is critical of Trump and calls him a racist because of his restriction on people coming from selected countries in the Middle East? You have Madeleine Albright saying she will register as a Muslim to protest Trump. So Catholics and Evangelicals the Democrats hate and now prefer Muslim? When did religion become a race? They are turning national security into a political football. NSA and taking everyone’s emails is necessary for security but checking people at the border is not?

Jesse Lee Peterson predicts new president will ‘reinstate law and order’

President Donald Trump has issued a blunt warning to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel about his city’s out-of-control violence: “If the city doesn’t fix the horrible carnage going on, I’ll send the feds!”

Trump’s words sent shockwaves across the country.

Donald Trump – a white man whom the press has tried to paint as a racist – is ironically giving black America hope. What seemed like an impossible problem plaguing our inner cities now seems solvable.

But what’s wrong with black men that they can’t stop the carnage?

For eight years, Barack Obama had the full authority and resources of the United States government to deal with the gangs, drugs and violence afflicting his adopted hometown of Chicago, but all he did was posture. He supported his corrupt former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel as mayor, and they pandered to black “activists,” blamed guns and called for more spending.

Chicago is home to Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright Jr. and countless black mega churches, yet these so-called “leaders” have failed to speak honestly about the root cause of the violence and take action to curb the rising death toll (4,000-plus shooting deaths in the last eight years).
