One in Ten Are Illegally in LA County (Video)

LASD Sgt. Richard Valdemar (Ret.), International Gang Specialist, discusses attending a meeting in Washington, D.C. with other law enforcement professionals to lobby U.S. Senators on SB 744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013.” Valdemar cites studies of California population that report one in ten L.A. County residents are here illegally. He notes concerns about giving illegal immigrants citizenship will flood schools, health care, and other public services, to the detriment of those here legally. Valdemar warns of reaching critical mass, and the further influx of gangs and violence. In an earlier interview Valdemar discusses how illegal immigrants are used by the drug czars as slave labor to grow and harvest medical marijuana.
