Nicholas Donald Librande, 35, pulled a gun on the woman and held her against her will before he was for some reason frightened off. Court records show that nine different women have filed restraining orders against Librande over the past 11 years in Multnomah, Marion, Polk, Linn, and Washington counties.
A man police have described as a violent serial stalker has terrorized at least nine Oregon women, including his former boss in Salem, and must be stopped, investigators said.
Nicholas Donald Librande, 35, was arrested after running his ex-boss off the road and threatening her with a gun Saturday night.
The woman, who asked not to have her identity revealed for safety reasons, spoke to KGW Monday. She said Librande has been stalking her with nasty emails and texts since he was fired. Then, last weekend, she feared for her life.
“I was scared from the beginning,” she said. “It’s too bad it had to come to this point, but I’m almost glad at the same time because you know he’s getting his name out there and maybe other people can come forward and maybe he’ll actually be put in jail and stopped.”
