On MSNBC’s Now with Alex Wagner, the eponymous show host had on senior fellow at the Brookings Institute and columnist for Bloomberg View Professor Justin Walfers. “Justin, thanks for joining us,” Wagner said, then smiled, “we are sorry that you had to suffer through all those boring white guys speaking on the floor of the US Senate.” Walfers is white, although he does have long hair and wear a uniquely colorful tie.
