George Zimmerman has registered The Game’s offer to face him in a celebrity boxing match – but there is only one rapper, according to promoters, he really wants to fight.
Damon Feldman, who is organising the event on the 1 March which astonishingly stars the man acquitted of murdering unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin in July 2013, told TMZ that Zimmerman has set his sights on going head-to-head with Kanye West.
Why? Because the rapper has an alleged history of attacking “ defenceless people”, the website claims.
The site goes on to report that the idea has been posed to West’s people, and that they’d be willing to move the fight to Los Angeles.
West is, however, yet to respond to Zimmerman’s challenge – or The Independent’s request for comment.
All the proceeds Zimmerman earns from the fight, Feldman said in an interview last week, will go to charity.
