Report: Hernandez Feared Gang Members Would Kill Him

Aaron Hernandez reportedly feared for his life because he felt his association with gang members from his old neighborhood would catch up to him.

According to TMZ, Hernandez joined a gang when he was a teenager in Connecticut and “was in constant fear that someone wanted him dead,” and that is why he reportedly stocked up on firearms.

Though he was trying to move away from his “old lifestyle” after signing a $40 million contract, Hernandez felt gangsters from his old lifestyle felt he “owed” them something.

Hernandez pled not guilty to first-degree murder on Wednesday. He was denied bail twice and will remain in jail until his trial starts.
