Hollywood Actor Wants to Know: ‘Is Obama Just Another Ivy League A**hole?’

Though President Barack Obama enjoys heavy support from most of Hollywood, actor John Cusack appears to be disenchanted with the commander-in-chief over his decision to continue George W. Bush’s controversial drone program and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

“One is forced to asked the question: Is the President just another Ivy League A**hole shredding civil liberties and due process and sending people to die in some sh*thole for purely political reasons?” Cusack wrote in a recent piece published on TruthOut.org Wednesday.

He was also critical of Obama’s broken promise to “get the job done in Afghanistan.” Referring to a speech given by the president at West Point in 2010, Cusack wrote: “the Christian president with the Muslim-sounding name, would heed the admonitions of neither religion’s prophets about making war and do what no empire or leader, including Alexander the Great, could do: he would, he assured us ‘get the job done in Afghanistan.’”

Surprisingly, Cusack says he wrote most of the scathing piece right after Mitt Romney sealed up the GOP presidential nomination.

“In light of the blizzard of bullsh*t coming at us in the next few months I thought I would put it out now,” he began.
