Political correctness blamed for sex grooming scandal

Euro-MP Paul Nuttall has blamed political correctness and fear of racist accusations for the Rochdale grooming scandal being allowed to happen.

“The elephant in the room that was not spoken about was that the abusers of these vulnerable young white girls were Asians and Muslims. If their attackers had been white Christians, I suspect the social services and police would have taken a very different view,” said Mr Nuttall, UKIP MEP for the North West.

“I believe the complaints of these scared youngsters were brushed under the carpet because we live in a ridiculously politically correct world and social workers and the police were terrified of being labelled racist.

“There were also clearly failings by the Crown Prosecution Service over early police investigations.
