We are experiencing an accelerated rate of loss of species due to human activities. This anthropogenic phenomenon extends beyond extinction. There’s certainly a benefit from curbing air pollution, but the question is, at what cost?

In a column highlighted by Powerline blogger John Hinderaker, engineer and energy expert Ronald Stein examines the source of the power and the materials in batteries. He concludes EVs are bad for the environment, and serious ethical questions are raised by the conditions under which the materials are mined.

Stein argues in a column titled “Is it ethical to purchase a lithium battery powered EV?” that entire mountains are eliminated by just one lithium supply mine.

An Assembly Bill before the California legislature would require the University of California (UC) Hastings College of the Law to recognize the “atrocities” committed by its founder nearly 170 years ago.

The text currently specifies that the college would afterward be known as the College of the Law. 

As a condition of the bill, members of the Round Valley Indian Tribes and the Yuki Indian Committee must contribute to proposed changes before the name can be officially adopted.

A June 3 meeting, however, resulted in disagreement between UC Hastings board members and tribal leaders. 

“College of the Law: San Francisco” was dismissed due to the “death and destruction” that tribal members associate with the city.

Woke Marxism must be fed to operate. It cannot feed itself because it doesn’t produce. Therefore, its sources of nourishment have to be cut off. These include funding streams, accumulated resources, and manipulations of your capital for its ends.

Wherever possible, remove funding and public moral/cultural support for Woke Marxist initiatives. Don’t find DEI, refuse consultancy shakedowns, refuse to support their initiatives, don’t say they have best intentions even when the idiots implementing it for them might.

Take back accumulated resources. This is mostly accomplished by suing them, targeted capital hits like against Disney, etc. Stop donating to universities. Pull kids out of schools. Refuse tainted federal, state, and corporate money. Dig your own wells and stop watering with Woke.
