MSU had nearly 1,200 racial incident reports in 5 years. Here’s how many were valid.

Michigan State University students and faculty reported nearly 1,200 racial incidents over a period of five years. Less than one percent of those reported incidents, however, were determined to be racial bias.

Over the past five years, nearly 1,200 Michigan State University students and staff members reported racial discrimination incidents. Only eight instances, however, truly violated the school’s bias and discrimination policies.

According to data provided to the Lansing State Journal by Michigan State’s Office of Institutional Equity, affiliates reported 1,187 instances of race-based bias and discrimination between 2015 and September 2020. Of those instances, 76 revealed issues with conduct, and of those 76 issues, eight instances — less than 1 percent of all reported — constituted violations of the school’s policies.

Campus Reform independently confirmed this data with Michigan State University Office of Institutional Equity spokesperson Christian Chapman.

Nevertheless, Tanya Jachimiak — the head of the Office of Institutional Equity — told the Lansing State Journal that a committee is currently “looking at how and where our policy is able to address and be part of the solution to breaking down systems of oppression.”

Ghislaine Maxwell Tries to Get Charges Dropped by Claiming Jury is Too White

Lawyers for accused child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell tried to get the charges against the Jeffrey Epstein confidante dropped by claiming the federal grand jury that indicted her was too white.

es, really.

The grand jury was empaneled in White Plains, New York instead of Manhattan due to COVID restrictions, but lawyers said this meant non-whites were underrepresented.

“The fact that Ms. Maxwell herself is neither black nor Hispanic does not deprive her of standing to raise this challenge,” Maxwell’s lawyers wrote. “The Constitution requires that a grand jury be drawn from “a fair cross-section of the community.”

They also claimed that the jury was hastily convened so as to secure Maxwell’s arrest on the anniversary of Jeffrey Epstein’s indictment.

“The use of a White Plains jury resulted in the systematic under-representation of black and Hispanic persons from the jury-selection process, in violation of Ms. Maxwell’s Sixth Amendment right,” lawyers wrote.

IU refers to known terrorist as ‘social activist’

The Indiana University Department of Information and Library Science added the autobiography of known terrorist Assata Shakur to their Winter Reading List. Shakur was found guilty of murdering a New Jersey state police officer and was a former leader of the Black Liberation Army, a violent militant revolutionary movement.

The Indiana University Department of Information and Library Science recommended that students read the autobiography of known terrorist Assata Shakur, referring to her instead as a “social activist.” In a post on its official Instagram account, the department stated that the biography is part of the “Winter Reading List.”

“This book is an autobiography of Assata Shakur, social activist and former member of the Black Liberation Army, as well as the godmother of Tupac Shakur,” the post stated. The post features a picture of the autobiography’s cover, which promotes a foreword by self-described communist Angela Davis, who also appeared on the FBI’s Most Wanted List.

Davis is a frequent campus speaker, as Campus Reform has noted

Assata Shakur, whose actual name is Joanne Deborah Chesimard, became the first woman in 2013 to make the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list. She is a convicted murderer, responsible for the 1973 death of a New Jersey state police officer. She is also a leader of the Black Liberation Army, a violent militant revolutionary movement responsible for the killing and wounding of more than a dozen law enforcement officers, the hijacking of Delta Flight 841, and numerous armed robberies and bombings, according to The New York Times.

‘Where is the line between global business & attempts to control society?’ Putin asks Davos as he calls out power of Big Tech

These events have shown that Big Tech companies “in some areas have de facto become rivals to the government,” Putin said.

Technology giants have become powerful rivals to governments, but there are doubts over the benefits for society of their monopoly positions, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin told the annual World Economic Forum, on Wednesday .

“Where is the line between a successful global business, in-demand services and consolidation of big data – and attempts to harshly and unilaterally govern society, replace legitimate democratic institutions, restrict one’s natural right to decide for themselves how to live, what to choose, what stance to express freely?” Putin wondered.

“We’ve all seen this just now in the US. And everybody understands what I’m talking about,” he added.

Conservative underdog takes ‘MARXIST’ critical race theory to court after Biden reverses Trump’s ban

‘We’re going to wage decentralized, relentless, legal warfare against critical race theory in every American institution’

Staff

In one of his first executive orders, President Joe Biden reversed the Trump administration’s ban on critical race theory training within the federal government.

Christopher F. Rufo, director for the Discovery Institute’s Center on Wealth and Poverty, joined BlazeTV’s Glenn Beck to discuss what this means moving forward and how you can help defend America’s values in your local governments, businesses, and schools.

Rufo, whose research inspired former President Donald Trump’s ban on critical race theory training in federal agencies last year, said he’s gearing up for a classic David vs. Goliath underdog fight and taking this “Marxist takeover” to the courts, where he’s optimistic it’ll be ruled not only anti-American, but outright unlawful.

The Politically Incorrect Guide: The New Animated Webseries

Season one is 10 episodes long, each episode lasting 12 to 15 minutes and releasing throughout 2021. The show will educate “people on true but politically incorrect facts,” says Joseph (Jake) Klein, series producer and founder of Dangerous Documentaries.

The Politically Incorrect Guide, a project of Dangerous Documentaries and the Capital Research Center, kicked off this morning, releasing its first episode, “The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution.”

Podcasters and authors Tom Woods and Michael Malice have created an ingenious prescription to heal the sickness of misinformation rampant throughout the country: an animated webseries that educates viewers beyond the politically correct rhetoric increasingly infecting American universities and society at large.

Based on the Regnery book series of the same name, each episode will cover stories from history, culture, and social movements that students in today’s mainstream education system may never hear, but need to know. The book series contains 32 works, each written by a different expert, including The Politically Incorrect Guide to Communism and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Capitalism, both of which will be among the show’s upcoming episodes.
