Video: Sen. Ted Cruz Opposes Debo Adegbile’s Nomination to Head DOJ Civil Rights Division

Debo Patrick Adegbile (born 1966) is an American lawyer who has been nominated to serve as the United States Assistant Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division. He represented radical Philadelphia murderer Mumia Abu-Jamal, who was convicted of killing a police officer in 1981 and sentenced to death, although the death sentence later was thrown out because of problems with jury instructions.
