Right Wing Music Radio Infiltrates CPAC

In its 40 year history, the Conservative Political Action Conference has never, to our knowledge, had a radio station that exclusively showcases music and shows by Conservative/Libertarian artists and radio hosts broadcasting live from their “Radio Row.”

BigDawg Music Radio (BDMR) – the first known radio station to feature music and pop culture-focused shows by right-leaning artists and radio hosts, 24 hours a day will be joining local and nationally syndicated terrestrial and internet radio stations later this week on CPAC’s Radio Row at the Gaylord National Harbor Hotel in Maryland–this year’s venue for the annual gathering of conservatives.

BDMR, launched in April 2012 by BigDawg Music Mafia founders, Lisa Mei and “BigDawg” Andrew, will be broadcasting live Thursday and Friday with hosts Ed Stevens and Molly James (Let’s Talk! With Ed and Molly), Trade Martin and Jimmy Jay (Today in News – Sunday Morning Fun House), and yours truly, Lisa Mei (Off the Hook” and “Afterburner) behind the mic spinning some fantastic original music by our member artists and chatting with CPAC speakers, attendees, and friends of BigDawg Music Mafia. Be sure to check out the Radio Row schedule and do stop by while we are on the air.

As BigDawg Music Radio prepares to celebrate its one-year anniversary, it is only fitting that we take a moment to remember and salute the ultimate culture warrior – the late, great, Andrew Breitbart – who just over one year ago, at last year’s conference, told us we were doing “great things” and encouraged us to keep charging forward when he took a few minutes to chat with us on our live video stream at BigDawg Music Mafia. He often said “culture is upstream of politics.” We could not agree more and look forward to bringing some of that “Culture Revolution” to CPAC 2013.
