The black history conspiracy theory holds that everything of importance in the world, from writing to mathematics, has its origin in Africa. A sub-division of this fake history is that all modern inventions and discoveries were also made by people of African heritage, but that this has been concealed from the world. Like so much of this nonsense, this concept has its roots in the United States.
