University Cancels Classes Ahead Of Pro-America Rally (Video)

Thousands expected for Friday rally in response to flag-stomping protest.

Valdosta State University canceled classes Friday ahead of a planned pro-America rally launched in response to an anti-racism flag-stomping incident last week that led to a veteran being banned from campus and a protestor fleeing after a gun was found.

Tuesday, campus police found a gun in a backpack belonging to Eric Sheppard, one of the three American flag protestors. When police issued a warrant for Sheppard’s arrest, he fled and has not yet been found by authorities.
