2 Arrested, 2 Wanted For Chester Councilman’s Murder

Police say four people were involved in the shooting death of a Chester city councilman.

Two have been arrested for Odell Williams’ murder. Two more are on the run, according to the sheriff’s office, and they should be considered armed and dangerous.

Christopher Moore is charged with murder. Quinton McClinton has been charged with acting as an accessory to murder. DNA and fingerprints led to their arrests.

The other two suspects haven’t yet been named.

Williams was shot on Nov. 4 just outside city limits.

The sheriff’s office held a press conference regarding the case Friday afternoon. Sheriff Alex Underwood said they’ve received threats from gang members during the department’s investigation. He said he he’s taking them head on.
