Texas’ Lt. Governor David Dewhurst has issued a fiery defense of his state’s efforts, and is rebuking Mexico for their protests, calling them “offensive”, according to the Texas Tribune.
The United States of America is facing a potentially existential threat to it’s sovereignty with the current crisis taking place along the southern border.
The US government has done next to nothing to stem the flood of illegal immigrants, cartel criminals, gang members, and potential terrorists coming across the border, so Texas has stepped up by surging law enforcement personnel and deploying National Guard troops on the border.
Mexico, far from helping Texas and the United States to solve the illegal immigrant and criminal issue, is actually complaining about the efforts Texas is making to secure their sector of the border.
