Comedian Rips Pelosi on ‘Late Night’: This Country Is ‘Built on Busting Your A**’ (Video)

The audience erupted with laughter and Miller’s ranting continued, ”So, anyway — so, when I hear her talking about freeing yourself up from job lock, that’s “America 180? to me. You know, this country is always built on busting your ass, and if we’re going to start talking about jobs and unemployment as freeing yourself from ‘job lock,’ we’re going down the crapper.”

Another celebrity is extolling the virtues of hard work and independence vs. the slacker lifestyle and government dependence.

Comedian Dennis Miller is on the road promoting his latest TV special, “America 180.” On Tuesday, Miller stopped by his old haunt, the NBC mothership at Rockefeller Center in New York City.

He sat down with another former SNL alum, Seth Meyers, the new host of “Late Night.” The two compared notes on what it was like to anchor the iconic show’s “Weekend Update.”

After trading SNL war stories, the conversation drifted to politics. Miller naturally reeled off a few zingers, initially targeting former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.

“Listen, when I hear one of the two major parties talk about job lock — when I heard Pelosi. And by the way, why do I want to hand my healthcare over to woman who chose that plastic surgeon, by the way?

Meyers appeared to defend Pelosi, stating, “I don’t know if that’s fair.”
