For whatever reason, some elected officials choose to continue on playing this insidious game. At some point in time, they will all find themselves being held responsible for their role in developing a dependent socialist state, comprised of a society lacking in many aspects of self reliance, commitment and responsibility.
There’s no doubt about it. Just like you, with what I see going on today, I sometimes wonder if every measure of good old American common sense has been thrown out the window and replaced with yet another perverted version of political correctness.
It’s not that I’m against every little thing that it’s supposed to represent, but for the most part, I see it as just another politically improvised tool created by the hard left to “fundamentally change America†by slowly transforming the core of our American value system.
The irony of it all is that while many of our elected officials think it clever and timely to remain committed to an ideology of political correctness, I’m now firmly convinced that it will become only a matter of time in which they will be shocked to find themselves so entangled within its decadent grasp that it will be too late for them to turn away from the deadly trap that they’ve set for themselves at the ballot box.
