State officials said they were ready to activate up to 900 charter buses, according to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin.
Fed up with illegal immigration in Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott (R) said Wednesday that he was going to have charter buses ship illegal aliens to Washington D.C. and drop them off at the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
Abbott made the comments at a media briefing announcing the steps his administration would take to respond to the Biden administration rescinding Title 42 and the expected massive wave of illegal immigrants.
“To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by
hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden
administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal
aliens who have been dropped off by the Biden administration to
Washington, D.C.,” said Abbott.
“We are sending them to the United States Capitol where the Biden Administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they’re allowing to come across our border,” he added.
