He makes his current living as a motivational self-help guru but wants to give back to his new Scottish community by being elected to Westminster.
And he plans on doing it independently, without the help of any political groups, especially not Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP.
Adopting a catchphrase from Donald Trump, Mr Pena is running on a Make Angus Great Again ticket, and he believes that it is a matter of when and not if he will be elected as a MP for his region.
