With all the nonsense noise coming out of Hollywood these past few days- from Jamie Foxx joking about killing ‘all the white people’ to Quentin Tarantino complaining about the criticism of his latest blood soaked violent film- it is refreshing to tell a story of a different side of Tinsel Town.

A new online webshow called Acting School with Nick Searcy provides viewers with a hilarious look at those self-absorbed actors and celebrities in Hollywood who take themselves way too seriously.

The show stars and is directed by veteran character actor Nick Searcy. Searcy (FX’s Justified, Moneyball, Cast Away) is one of those faces everyone recognizes but whose name they do not. “The character in the online comedy series is based on a character I did in a campaign video for Herman Cain,” Searcy told me. “The campaign video satirized the use of fake Hollywood endorsements in presidential races. It was both humorous and delivered a key message.”
