Two other men who had initially posed as good Samaritans, and even gave officers descriptions of Mr. Pride and Mr. Santos and the guns they saw, were now being charged as part of a five-person crime team. The two men were identified by the police as Ariel Tejada, 22, and Nelson Moralez, 27.

Lamont Pride, who was charged in the killing of Officer Peter J. Figoski, was driven from the 75th Precinct in east New York on his way to central booking in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Tuesday.
The police said on Tuesday that they now have four more suspects in custody in the Brooklyn robbery that turned into Monday morning’s deadly shooting of a veteran police officer.
Early Monday morning in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn, Officers Peter J. Figoski and Glenn Estrada were responding to a robbery in a two-story home on Pine Street. When shots rang out, Officer Estrada left the man with whom he was struggling to chase down the suspected gunman, Lamont Pride, 27, who the police said had shot Officer Figoski in the face.
Officer Figoski, 47, died five hours later of his wounds at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, but his colleagues lauded him for helping others even in death — his organs were to be donated.
The police commissioner, Raymond W. Kelly, said on Tuesday that detectives had apprehended Kevin Santos, 30, who he said participated in the break-in with Mr. Pride and struggled with Officer Estrada. Mr. Santos was captured at his girlfriend’s house in Ozone Park, Queens, said Mr. Kelly, by detectives who initially only had his street name – Luck – to work with.
“With the help of the real-time-crime center, they established that Santos had used his girlfriend’s address in a car accident report,” Mr. Kelly told reporters. “Detectives drove to his house and found him there.”
