Why elites love ‘diversity’ and why it is so dangerous for everyone else

It is all a result of elites brainwashed into a belief system that runs counter to common sense. Thankfully, a pseudonymous “technology executive and writer living in New York City” has written a penetrating essay in Quillette that explains why the Western elites embrace nonsense and try to impose it on the rest of us, beyond the simple self-interest of new voters or cheap labor.

You are a bigot and a hater if you don’t agree with Nancy Pelosi that all of the DACA recipients deserve not just immediate citizenship and the right to vote for Democrats, but that they are morally superior to those of us born as citizens. In fact, we are lucky they chose to grace us with their presence. No stunt is too weird – no even an 8-hour speech in well-photographed and celebrated stiletto heels — if the goal is to extol the virtues of open borders.

For more than a decade. we all have endlessly been lectured, “Diversity is our strength,” and the only permitted reaction to the arrival of MS 13, honor killings, and clitoridectomies is to “Celebrate Diversity.”

And it is not just Americans subjected to this nonsense. The elites of most of the Western democracies are intent on forcing their own peoples to absorb millions of immigrants from cultures with values hostile to their own. Ask the German women gang raped in Cologne, the Swedes cautioned about going out alone at night, or the Jews of France, subject to lethal attack on the streets if wearing identifiably Jewish garb.

Bombshell: FBI Informant In Uranium One Scandal Testifies Against Obama. Here’s What He Said

“I was frustrated watching the U.S. government make numerous decisions benefiting Rosatom and Tenex while those entities were engaged in serious criminal conduct on U.S. soil.”

The FBI’s informant in the Uranium One scandal involving the Obama administration gave written testimony to three congressional committees this week in which he accused the Obama administration of making decisions that directly benefited the Russian government and their goals of gaining geopolitical advantages over the United States.

The informant, Douglas Campbell, told congressional investigators on Wednesday that Moscow sent millions of dollars to the U.S. with the expectation that it would benefit the Clintons, while Hillary Clinton “quarterbacked a ‘reset’ in US-Russian relations” in her role as Secretary of State during the Obama administration, The Hill reported.

Key facts:

* Campbell participated in closed-door interviews with the Senate Judiciary, House Intelligence and House Oversight and Government Reform committees.

* Campbell said that Russian nuclear officials told him that Moscow hired an American lobbying firm, APCO Worldwide, because it was in a unique position to influence the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton in particular.

* Democrats are aggressively trying to discredit him but are having little success as “the FBI found Campbell’s undercover work valuable enough to reward him with a $50,000 check in 2016.”

Pelosi Thanks Illegal Immigrants For Breaking The Law, Says U.S. Owes Them (Video)

“We’re in your debt…”

When she took to the House floor on Wednesday for a filibuster-style speech, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi thanked illegal aliens for having the “courage” to bring their children illegally into the United States.

During Pelosi’s remarks, she portrayed the parents of “Dreamers” as victims who have had to endure much “risk” to bring their families illegally into the country.

“I say to their parents: Thank you for bringing these Dreamers to America. We’re in your debt for the courage it took, for you to take the risk, physically, politically, in every way, to do so,” Pelosi said.

Jordan Peterson Explains Exactly How Trudeau’s Progressive Policies Are Destroying Canada (Video)

“I think he runs an ideology in his head and accepts the output without question. And I think we’re really going to pay for it in Canada in ways that we can’t yet imagine.”

Professor of psychology at the University of Toronto Jordan Peterson said Tuesday that Canada is poised to pay for its progressive ideology and called out Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his left-wing policies.

While appearing on “Fox & Friends,” Peterson was asked about a forum where Trudeau told an audience member to use the term “people-kind” instead of mankind. Peterson said this behavior was par for the course.

“It’s quite the performance. I mean, I’m afraid that our prime minister is only capable of running his ideas on a few very narrow ideological tracts. We saw the first evidence of that when he put his cabinet together. He insisted upon making it 50 percent women despite the fact that only about 22 percent of the elected MP’s were women,” Peterson said. “It was easier for him to do that than it was for him to screen people for the sort of competence that would actually be necessary to be cabinet members.”

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Depicts Brutal Rape of Conservative Pundit Resembling Ann Coulter

NBC police procedural Law & Order: SVU depicted the gruesome rape of a fictional conservative pundit, who eerily resembles author Ann Coulter, in Wednesday’s politically charged episode titled Info Wars.

The episode follows conservative personality, Martha Cobb (Rhea Seehorn), who delivers a speech ironically ripping “the liberal snowflakes,” to a Make America Great Again hat-wearing crowd on a university campus. Cobb’s speech is cut short when a gang of Antifa protesters clash with a mob of white supremacists. Violence ensues, and Cobb is later found unconscious after being beaten and sexually assaulted with the pole of a protest sign.

The NYPD detectives investigating Cobb’s assault are seen debating the merits of her political views — regulars Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Odafin Tutuola (Ice-T), and Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) argue whether the unknown assailant could have been motivated by Cobb’s support of policies that would “close down Planned Parenthood and deport the Dreamers.”

Detectives eventually nab Antifa member Justin Vichinsky (Adam William Zastrow), whose protest sign, we later learn, was used to mutilate Cobb. Vichinsky’s DNA was also found under Cobb’s fingernails. She eventually points him out in a suspect line-up.

The call the Park the Ombligo (navel) of Aztlan. Gonzales was one of the four Founders of Chicano political movement.

‘Biggest Snow Job in Political History’: Judge Jeanine Tears Into Dems for Using Dreamers as ‘Pawns’ (Video)

“I’d like to know what country… that would let 1.8 million people [in] who violated their rules and disrespected their laws, but were still willing to forgive them and generously allow them citizenship,” Pirro said.

In her Opening Statement, Judge Jeanine Pirro called the illegal immigration fight the “biggest snow job in political history.”

Pirro said Democrats and illegal immigrants are trying to make citizens feel bad about the president’s offer to grant amnesty to millions of people.

How campus politics hijacked American politics

Does university illiberalism matter, or is it just campus hijinks? Cathy Young shows how campus politics is infecting American politics.

The defense of free speech has always been a bedrock bipartisan principle. So it’s unusual to hear a veteran liberal politician excuse campus outrage squads that shout down dissent. But that’s exactly what former Vermont governor and Democratic National Committee head Howard Dean did in a recent appearance — and his embrace of the campus left reveals a lot about the nation’s current cultural moment.

On a panel at Kenyon College last month, Dean brought up a notorious incident at Yale two years before. In 2015, lecturer and residence hall co-supervisor Erika Christakis had set off protests with an e-mail defending students’ freedom to wear Halloween costumes — such as ones based on the Chinese-inspired cartoon character Mulan — that some may find culturally insensitive. A viral video showed protesters mobbing and berating her husband, professor Nicholas Christakis. The couple later resigned their leadership posts, and Erika Christakis stopped teaching.

Dean’s take on this was that there are “consequences to free speech.” He caricatured Erika Christakis’s thoughtful, sensitive letter as an ugly screed mocking “snowflake” students and defending racist costumes. He also described the protesters as well-behaved, despite their screaming and bullying. That an academic became a target of red-hot rage for challenging progressive dogma on cultural appropriation did not seem to bother him in the least.

School cancels ‘Hunchback of Notre Dame’ due to white student getting lead role

The group’s demands, listed on its Facebook page, included a cessation of play rehearsals, a stoppage of hiring (production) people who have not “changed their actions” following complaints from “parents of color” and “social justice activists,” and an end to the “racist and openly stated policy of ‘color blind’ casting.”

A New York high school has canceled a production of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” after a student activist group complained about a white student being cast in a lead role.

The school now will be putting on an alternative production.

Members of Ithaca High School’s Students United Ithaca — all five of them — got together and wrote up a letter and list of demands after the role of Esmeralda went to a Caucasian peer.

“It shows you that theater wasn’t made for you,” said Maddi Carroll, a member of the Students United group who is African-American. “And it shows you that, if you can’t get the parts that are written for you, what parts are you going to get?”

Students United’s letter conceded that the student cast as Esmeralda “is a stellar actor, singer, and dancer” and that any production would be “lucky to have her.”

Ingraham: Memo Shows Comey FBI, Obama DOJ & Clinton Campaign ‘Colluded’ Against Trump (Video)

Ingraham said the memo reveals the “real” collusion that occurred during the 2016 election, and it wasn’t between the Trump campaign and Russia.

In her opening monologue on Friday night, Laura Ingraham reacted to the controversial memo alleging government surveillance abuses.

The memo, which was released on Friday by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee, contains a number of bombshell allegations, including that the FBI and Justice Department relied on the infamous anti-Trump dossier to secure FISA surveillance warrants to spy on at least one member of the Trump team.

It also claims the former British spy who compiled the dossier — which was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee — had a personal animus toward President Donald Trump.
