Sen. Ted Cruz is taking a stand against President Donald Trump’s proposal to allow 700,000 ‘dreamer’ illegal immigrants win the huge prize of American citizenship.
According to Bloomberg, Cruz told reporters Thursday that:
“I do not believe we should be granting a path to citizenship to anybody here illegally,” the Texas Republican said in the Capitol. “Doing so is inconsistent with the promises we made to the men and women who elected us” …
“For some reason that to me is utterly inexplicable, we see Republicans falling all over themselves to gallop to the left of Obama in a way that is contrary to the promises made to the voters who elected us,” Cruz said. “We need to honor the promises we made. And that is what I am energetically urging my colleagues to do.”
The pushback came after Trump casually suggested Wednesday night that he could agree to Democrats’ demand that the 700,000 illegals enrolled in the ‘DACA’ amnesty could have citizenship. Trump said to reporters:
We’re going to morph into it, it’s going to happen. Over a period of 10 to 12 years, somebody does a great job, they’ve worked hard.
Trump’s amnesty proposal is far smaller than the now-dead “Gang of Six” plan by GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham, Jeff Flake, and Cory Gardner. That giveaway would have provided citizenship to 3.25 million illegals and work-permits to their roughly 4.75 million parents. The 8 million number was announced by White House press secretary Hogan Gidley. The gang’s plan would also have allowed the 3.25 million migrants to import additional migrants as chain-migration relatives.

Starbucks will spend $250 million of its corporate tax cut to boost the pay and expand the benefits of its American workers.
The coffee chain joins some 200 American corporations that are already raising wages thanks to a corporate tax cut signed into law by President Trump last month. Starbucks, a mega-corporation with a far-left worldview, has now joined a handful of other far-left corporations — Apple and Disney — in validating the idea that tax cuts benefit everyone, or what is known as trickle-down economics.
According to Reuters, Starbucks will save some $425 million in taxes, more than of which it plans to pass on to its employees. This will come in the form of a pay raise, as well as stock grants worth between $500 to $2000, depending on seniority.
On Tuesday, the Walt Disney Company announced that, thanks to the Trump tax cut, it would award its 125,000 employees one-time cash bonuses of $1,000 and invest $50 million into education programs for its workers.
Last week, Apple announced $2,500 bonuses for most of its employees in the form of stock units. The left-wing company also said it would repatriate some $200 billion to the U.S. and invest a total of $350 billion into our economy over the next five years. This is expected to create some 22,000 American jobs.

If Republicans are right, Democrats turned the FBI into a political whorehouse. If they’re not, they’re destroying one of the nation’s great institutions to protect Trump. Either way, this ends ugly.
So, here’s a list of the revelations from the past few weeks surrounding the FBI’s investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government:
Text messages between FBI agents Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page talked openly about a “path you threw out for consideration in [deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe’s office]” as an “insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40,” with reference to a Trump election. Strzok worked heavily on the Hillary investigation, and crafted the language exonerating her. He was also deeply involved in the Trump-Russia collusion investigation;
According to Reps. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and John Ratcliffe (R-TX), text messages between the pair referenced a “secret society” working against Trump;
The FBI somehow “lost” a batch of text messages between Strzok and Page, conveniently identified as the period between December 2016 and May 2017, when special counsel Robert Mueller took over the probe;

Campus police escorted two Trump supporters from the premises of the University of Southern California when a mob threatened their safety following a gubernatorial town hall. Protesters repeatedly heckled the Trump supporters during the debate, and several people later accosted them as they stood outside the venue, eventually leading campus police to offer to escort the pair to their car safely.
Campus police escorted two Trump supporters from the premises of the University of Southern California when a mob threatened their safety following a gubernatorial town hall.
The town hall, a partnership between USC, the Empowerment Congress, and Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, took place in USC’s Bovard Auditorium on Saturday, January 13. Arthur Shaper and Harim Uzziel told Campus Reform that they attended the event to inform their votes for governor and show their support for President Trump and candidate Travis Allen.
As the pair took their seats, protesters with signs declaring “people over profit” hounded them for their evident political views. When the protesters began chanting the slogan, some audience members quietly booed, while Shaper retorted that “people need profit” and “profit makes people stronger.”
A woman sitting in front of the pair then turned around and told Uzziel to be quiet. Uzziel defended his right to civilly reply to the protestors. The woman then reported him to the campus police, who pulled him out of his seat to discuss the incident outside the auditorium.

We hear a lot about the kleptocratic elites of Africa. The kleptocracy extends through the whole society. My town had a medical clinic donated by international agencies. The medicine was stolen by the medical workers and sold to the local store. If you were sick and didn’t have money, drop dead. That was normal.
Three weeks after college, I flew to Senegal, West Africa, to run a community center in a rural town. Life was placid, with no danger, except to your health. That danger was considerable, because it was, in the words of the Peace Corps doctor, “a fecalized environment.”
In plain English: s— is everywhere. People defecate on the open ground, and the feces is blown with the dust – onto you, your clothes, your food, the water. He warned us the first day of training: do not even touch water. Human feces carries parasites that bore through your skin and cause organ failure.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that a few decades later, liberals would be pushing the lie that Western civilization is no better than a third-world country. Or would teach two generations of our kids that loving your own culture and wanting to preserve it are racism.
Last time I was in Paris, I saw a beautiful African woman in a grand boubou have her child defecate on the sidewalk next to Notre Dame Cathedral. The French police officer, ten steps from her, turned his head not to see.
I have seen. I am not turning my head and pretending unpleasant things are not true.
President finally discloses strategy to accomplish 1 of biggest campaign promises.
Quietly, and without any fanfare from major media, Donald Trump has unveiled his plan for getting Mexico to pay for the border wall.
He says he plans to offer a new deal on NAFTA that will share increased revenues between the two countries more equitably, a small portion of which will be diverted to pay for the cost of the wall.
The Trump administration is currently seeking federal funding for the wall while renegotiating the U.S. trade deal with both Mexico and Canada.
“They can pay for it indirectly through NAFTA,” Trump said Thursday in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. “We make a good deal on NAFTA, and, say, ‘I’m going to take a small percentage of that money and it’s going toward the wall.’ Guess what? Mexico’s paying.”
Trump’s comments came hours after he was updated by his administration’s top economic and trade advisers on the progress of those negotiations and the administration’s trade actions more broadly.

Actor James Woods took to Twitter Tuesday to issue a stern warning to President Donald Trump: cave to Democrats on the immigration issue and become a “one-term president.”
The conservative actor used his social media account to weigh in on Tuesday’s bipartisan meeting between Trump and leaders from the House and Senate on immigration, during which the president suggested he would be open to a comprehensive immigration reform deal that would resolve the status of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients.
“If you fold on immigration, you are a one-term president,” Woods wrote in a tweet.

Stephen K. Bannon, executive chair of Breitbart News and former White House chief strategist, issued the following statement on Sunday:
“Donald Trump, Jr. is both a patriot and a good man. He has been relentless in his advocacy for his father and the agenda that has helped turn our country around.
“My support is also unwavering for the president and his agenda — as I have shown daily in my national radio broadcasts, on the pages of Breitbart News and in speeches and appearances from Tokyo and Hong Kong to Arizona and Alabama. President Trump was the only candidate that could have taken on and defeated the Clinton apparatus. I am the only person to date to conduct a global effort to preach the message of Trump and Trumpism; and remain ready to stand in the breach for this president’s efforts to make America great again.
“My comments about the meeting with Russian nationals came from my life experiences as a Naval officer stationed aboard a destroyer whose main mission was to hunt Soviet submarines to my time at the Pentagon during the Reagan years when our focus was the defeat of ‘the evil empire’ and to making films about Reagan’s war against the Soviets and Hillary Clinton’s involvement in selling uranium to them.”
I watch Hollywood awards ceremonies where a supposed artist screams out for punching people in the face for political disagreements, and the entire horde of Botoxed brain zombies leaps to their feet in an ungodly and unholy howl of rampant bloodlust approval.
“We can call it Cultural Marxism, but at the end of the day, we experience it on a day to day basis, by that I mean a minute by minute, second by second basis. It’s political correctness and it’s multiculturalism.” – Andrew Breitbart
