Sen. Rick Scott recently stated that “woke corporate America” will end up facing a “day of reckoning” if the GOP manages to take back the House and Senate in the 2022 midterm elections.
The Florida Republican penned a scathing open letter published on Monday that was addressed to corporations that have been getting involved in political causes, like Georgia’s voter ID law, which has seen a lot of big time companies attacking the bill.
“I hope you are all having fun with your virtue signaling,” the senator stated in the letter, which was published by Fox News. “I hope you are enjoying trying to one-up each other and showing how woke you can be, all the while believing that you are more sophisticated and morally superior to the hard-working people of this country.”
