Tim Allen joins docudrama taking down PC culture

In a movie clip released to The Post, Allen joins a roundtable discussion with fellow comedians about how the PC culture is hurting comedy.

Actor Tim Allen has joined the cast of new movie aimed at disrupting the liberal and PC culture in Hollywood, on college campuses and in comedy.

Allen’s “Last Man Standing” sitcom was canceled last year and outraged fans believe ABC pulled the plug because the family comedy highlighted conservative values. ABC denied it was over politics.

Allen has signed onto the docudrama “No Safe Spaces” that’s expected to hit theaters in the fall.

Fellow comedian Adam Carolla and conservative radio show host Dennis Prager are making the movie to promote free speech at a time they say the entertainment industry, media and college campuses too often shut down or blackball controversial viewpoints.

“Nothing kills comedy quite like people who are constantly offended,” Carolla told the Post. “It’s impossible to be funny if we’re not allowed to poke fun at each other and that’s what’s happening with a new generation of people who seem to be offended for a living.

Michael Rectenwald, the professor famous for getting put on paid leave at New York University after daring to criticize leftist ideology on Twitter, is suing the university. Some teachers in Waterloo region now feel the need to wear Kevlar clothing to protect themselves due to the growing trend of violence in classrooms.

“We’re (dealing with) everything to biting to kicking and punching,” said Jeff Pelich, the vice president of the local chapter of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario.

“Between our teachers and educational assistants, and child and youth workers, many of them are now required to wear Kevlar, to wear full vests to protect themselves from punches and kicks.”

1,300 violent incidents

Last school year there were approximately 1,300 incidents involving elementary student-on-teacher violence in the Waterloo Region District School Board, up from around 900 the previous year.

Ann Coulter: Jeff Sessions ‘Better Be Ready to Arrest’ Congressmen Bringing Illegal Aliens to Trump’s SOTU (Video)

Populist conservative columnist and New York Times best-selling author Ann Coulter says Attorney General Jeff Sessions “better be ready to arrest all” members of Congress who are expected to bring illegal aliens as their dates to President Trump’s “State of the Union” (SOTU) address.

In an interview with conservative talk radio host Howie Carr, Coulter said Sessions should be gearing up to arrest Washington, D.C. politicians who arrive at Trump’s SOTU address with illegal aliens.

COULTER: I’ve also heard they’re planning on inviting illegal aliens. So Jeff Sessions better be ready to arrest all of them for conspiring to commit a crime, which I believe is a felony under federal law in all 50 states, even if the crime itself is not a felony. I mean, they had to have meetings, they had to make a phone call. These are people who are in the country illegally and anyone conspiring with them to keep them here illegally, to invite them to a State of the Union address, Jeff Sessions should have them all arrested and I mean the congressmen.

But seriously, Sessions should be looking at all of these governors and mayors for conspiring to commit federal crimes.

Father. Son. Cellmates.

Generations of Philly families are incarcerated together.

As the bus rattled toward the State Correctional Institution-Graterford, Jorge Cintron Jr. could barely contain his excitement, a nearly childlike giddiness. Though the journey had been 14 hours, most of it in shackles, he wasn’t close to tired.

To the other weary inmates in mustard-yellow “D.O.C.” jumpsuits, what loomed ahead was just another prison: same bars and barbed wire, same bland food, same thin mattresses. But Cintron was about to be with his father, his namesake — the role model he had followed into the drug world, into court on murder charges, and then into prison, their twin life sentences imposed eight years apart.

It had been 20 years since he had last seen the man everyone said he took after. “Lil Lolo,” his father’s friends from Philadelphia’s Fairhill section would call him. Now, he was about to come face to face with Jorge Cintron Sr., Lolo himself.

“I hadn’t hugged my father in so many years, or heard his voice,” Cintron Jr. said. “It was bittersweet, because we’re both in prison and having to see each other in here.”

DML Op-Ed: Facebook operating a massive bait and switch game

Putting it all together, it is clear to see the strategy. They charged us to get people to LIKE our page only to hide our content from the people we paid to attract. And now, in what feels like a ransom offering, they want us to pay $800 per post to reach 1/3 of our LIKES. If this is not a bait and switch deal, I don’t know what is.

Facebook has lined their pockets by offering publishers the opportunity to buy ads that help build Facebook communities. A publisher such as DML News puts out an ad on Facebook to target users in the hope they will LIKE our page, thus, making it so the person receives our content in its newsfeed.

DML News has spent more than $100k over a two-year period to target like-minded conservatives.

Unfortunately, the ads have limited success. The best way to build real LIKES is to create viral videos and to have a consistent and busy publishing schedule.

Over the course of time, Facebook has screwed with the publisher’s ability to reach the audience they’ve built up over time. Here is an example: For the past two years, DML News has consistently posted original content. On average, we have 40 unique posts per day. For a very long time, our posts to Facebook would result in 1,000 people landing on our website at any given moment during the day. But they’ve changed things at Facebook so drastically that today, the number is more like 150.

Facebook has literally stripped us of our reach. We may have 1.1M LIKES, but our posts reach just a few thousand people. Notice the photo below, a post that would once reach 100k people, now reach a mere 6k out of the 1.1M who have LIKED our page.
