United States President Barack Obama’s unchecked influx of unvaccinated child immigrants across the U.S. – Mexico border has an official with the centers for Disease Control denouncing him as a “Marxist” and “amateur.” An email from the official called him the “the worst pres we ever had.”
Countless Central Americans, piling through the U.S. southern Border States along the border with Mexico has brought an influx of unvaccinated people with diseases that have since been eradicated in the U.S.
The Center for Disease Control, or CDC, which operates under the Department of Health and Human Services, or HHS, opened an emergency screening facility in order to counter this burgeoning health crisis.
The division has responded to several dozen public health threats. Hurricanes, food-borne disease outbreaks, the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic, and the Haiti cholera outbreak were all addressed by this body. Analyzing, validating and efficiently exchanging information during a public health emergency, the center also coordinates the deployment of CDC staff.
