Ted Nugent certainly needs no introduction. The Motor City Madman is as famous (and infamous) for being an outspoken public personality as for his music. But with a new concert CD/DVD package, Ultralive Ballisticrock, now out, and a reinvigorated band featuring returning singer/guitarist Derek St. Holmes (who played a vital role on Nugent’s early solo albums), “Uncle Ted” is rocking harder than ever. Entertainmenttell.com recently had a lively, no-holds-barred chat with “The Nuge” covering what he considers a love song, his exotic hobbies, his feelings about technology, and exactly what he thinks of that damn Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

EntertainmentTell: Hi Ted, how are you?

Ted Nugent: I’m doing grand. Yourself?

EntertainmentTell: Good thanks, it’s great to speak with you.

Nugent: Yeah, back atcha. We love talking about my music (laughs).

EntertainmentTell: That’s what we’re going to talk about today.

Nugent: Hallelujah!

EntertainmentTell: Yeah, I got an advance download of the new live CD and a stream of the DVD, and it’s really good stuff.

Nugent: Well, thank you very much, I got a killer band, they give it everything they got every night, so I’m a lucky guy.
